About MommyMala.com

This is a place to Supermoms recenter, grow and smile. This is a place to help you make practical, informed decisions with limited time.  I get it.  Its hard to find balance as a mother. My mission is to make being a Supermom a little bit easier by providing practical tools based on science, psychology and good-old-fashioned mother’s intuition.

About Supermoms

This is is dedicated to all Supermoms, whether you feel like one or not.   Your superpower is juggling a lot of balls at once while dodging Lego, talking on the phone and carrying a baby on your back.  Supermoms are the women who “have it all”–educated moms that take care of the kids while working from home, part-time, full-time or volunteering.  This is for all those moms that vowed to feed their kids organic food but found themselves at McDonalds.  This is for all those moms who bought yoga pants and a yoga mat but only made it to the yoga studio once last month.  MommyMala.com is for the mom who set a timer to meditate but missed it because their kid drained the battery on the iPhone.

About Ronda Litwin

Hi!  I’m Ronda Litwin. I’m a mother, yoga instructor, attorney and writer.  I’m passionate, analytical, silly, kinesthetic, intuitive, fluid and obsessed with research.   I initially worked as an appellate attorney and researched legal precedent to help clarify the law and advocate for my clients.  Practicing law is stressful and the way I kept my sanity was through the practice of yoga.  I eventually started teaching yoga in studios, corporations, gyms and people’s homes to help people find more peace and balance in their lives.  Once I became pregnant with my son, my researching obsession was funneled into everything pregnancy, parenting, baby and kids.  Over the past 5+ years I have researched almost every topic related to kids, and parenting and emailed my poor husband with our updated parenting plan of attack.  I’m currently writing a parenting book that incorporates mindful practices to help mothers stay centered.

Some of my favorite books include the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, The 7 Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra, How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish, Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life by Dr. Wayne Dyer and anything by Elizabeth Gilbert.
